We start with stories of the National Parks before sifting through the ten lame names that DC may name the Superman Batman film.  How is the new season of American Horror story going?  We spend a few minutes talking about the play Spamelot and Monty Python in general.  We speculate whether James Bond will face Blofeld and SPECTRE after EMI settled their five decade long lawsuit.

Comedian Victor Johnson stops by the newly minted Studio G.  We discuss standup, and how a comedian should or shouldn’t handle bombing.  A child is given the ability to play Batman, but doesn't have Alfred at his disposal.  We discuss Seinfield at great length (season three or four?).  What movies were rated R, then went PG-13?   Then we spend some time discussing the Silver Age or Marvel Age of comics.

We talk about Spider-Man and body switching as a trope.  What is the true legacy of Clueless and Super Mario Brothers 3?  We review Thor:  the Dark World.  Marvel orders five new series for Netflix.  We defend Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD yet again.  Finally, Brandon rails on people recording concerts on their phones.

Watching The Voice on mute

We cut a huge three hour podcast into two.  The first part has us recklessly speculating what Marvel Studios has in store for the Punisher and Daredevil.  Then we spend a little time debating music:  U2’s legacy (as well as Lou Reed, Grace Slick, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Sonic Youth, Jane’s Addiction, The Deftones, and Bad Religion), Tom Petty vs. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tour riders (we’re looking at you Beyonce, Dave Grohl, and Iggy Pop), and Elton John vs. Billy Joel.  Also, Tom Hardy portrays the aforementioned Elton John.  Part two will continue next week.
